FAQs
For commercial/business environments, we recommend VCT, Carpet Tile, or glue down Vinyl Planks. For residential use: Laminate, LVP, Hardwood, or Tile will all work very well. It’s just a matter of different kinds of maintenance and upkeep.
Porcelain is denser and more water-resistant than ceramic, making it better suited for areas with moisture exposure. Ceramic is generally easier to cut and install but less durable in heavy-use settings.
For tile, wait at least 24 hours before light foot traffic and 72 hours before heavy use or moving furniture. For glue-down vinyl, wait 24–48 hours, depending on the adhesive type. Floating floors can often be walked on the same day.
