A successful tile job starts with planning. We review tile size, pattern, and orientation, confirm transitions and edge details, and identify where cuts will land so the finished surface looks balanced and intentional. We also discuss grout color, joint width, and movement joints where needed to reduce cracking over time.
Next comes preparation, which is often the most important step for durability. We evaluate the substrate for flatness, stiffness, and cleanliness, then make corrections as needed. For wet areas, we implement appropriate waterproofing measures and ensure slopes and drainage are correctly formed before tile is set.
During installation, we use quality setting materials, maintain consistent coverage, and keep lines straight with proper spacing. After curing, we grout, detail corners and changes of plane with the correct sealant, and perform a final quality check to confirm lippage control, clean edges, and a polished overall appearance.
